Download and Installation
- Please use the SonicCloud Frisson package provided by your team to download the software to your device.
- Once downloaded, open your Finder app, select the Downloads folder, and select SonicCloudFrisson.pkg
. - Once you've opened the file, follow the prompts on the screen including clicking on Agree under the License section, selecting the Install location, and approving the installation by providing your macOS system Username and Password. The software will continue to install and will prompt you for permission for the Installer to control System Events. When this pops up, click OK.
After you've completed the download and installation of the software, you will be given the option of moving the Installer to your Trash.
Create New Account
When you have successfully installed the SonicCloud Frisson desktop application, the SonicCloud Frisson control panel will pop up in the center of your screen. You will now be able to create your account.
- Click on Log In.
- On the next screen, select Need an Account? Sign up.
- Fill out the form and click on Sign Up when completed.
- You will now be logged in and the SonicCloud Frisson control panel will pop back up on your screen.
Setting Up SonicCloud Frisson
Now that you're signed in, you will want to confirm that SonicCloud Frisson has been selected as the preferred Output device on your machine. You can verify this by doing the following:
- From the Apple menu bar, click the Apple icon and select System Settings.
- Next, verify that SonicCloud is selected under the Output tab under Sound settings. This is done by simply clicking on the SonicCloud line to highlight and select it.
- Next, go to the Control Center and select Always Show in Menu Bar under the Sound tab.
- Verify that SonicCloud is selected under Sound on the top Apple menu bar.
**Please note, when using video conferencing platforms, please always check that the audio settings are set to SonicCloud Frisson as well.** -
